Increase Business Performance Through Bettering Your Workplace Culture

WHAT IS WORKPLACE CULTURE?

There are many ways to ‘define’ culture, but at its basic level, it is the IDENTITY of a workplace.

That IDENTITY is made up of shared:

Behaviors
Beliefs
Goals

#1. BUSINESS PERFORMANCE INCREASES when employees are happy, engaged, and enjoy coming to work.

#2. ENGAGED EMPLOYEES = PRODUCTIVE EMPLOYEES. Employees who are more enthusiastic about the companies they work for tend to be more productive. That means more work and more business being done.

#3. EMPLOYEE LOYALTY = LOTS OF GOOD THINGS. Employees that like their jobs, like their workplace, like their leader, are less likely to quit.

HOW TO SPOT A DISENGAGED EMPLOYEE

#1. Participation in activities outside of their position responsibilities is low or absent.

#2. Indulgence in non-work related habits.

#3. Curiosity and learning are absent.

#4. Avoidance of social interactions with team or leadership.

#5. Their work is “good enough”.

#6. Wouldn’t and doesn’t recommend the business.

#7. Voices complaints, never ideas or motivation.

#8. “Know it all” or too good for what’s being said.

#9. Doesn’t help others.

#10. Lack of initiative.

#1. Treat your employees like family.

#2. Establish organized and open communication.

#3. Invest in your employees.

Talk with your people, not at them.
Schedule with employees and don’t stand them up.
